// How we work

Six commitments. We hold ourselves to them, and you can hold us to them too.

01

Founders read your code.

There is no junior team you'll be handed off to. The four people who founded the company are the four people who'll review your work and give you feedback.

02

Calm cadence, real shipping.

No crunch. No "startup hours." We work hard during business hours and ship the rest of the day. The product line tells you we hit our cadence.

03

Salary is in the JD.

Every role lists a real, current-USD band. We don't negotiate against ourselves and we don't gate the number behind a phone call.

04

Equity is meaningful.

Founding-team roles get founding-team equity. The cap table is public to the team on day one. We talk about it openly.

05

Async-first.

Most of the company runs on writing. Meetings have agendas and produce docs. Time zones are a constraint we design around, not a thing we ignore.

06

One spec, many roles.

Engineers ship copy. Designers write tickets. Marketing reads PRs. Specialization is fine — silos are not. Everyone touches the product.

// Our promise

Our hiring process, end-to-end.

01

30-minute founders' call

You and Sarah (or Mario, depending on role). No "culture screen." We talk about your work and answer your questions.

02

Paid take-home (4 hours, $400)

A small piece of real-shaped work. Paid because your time matters. Capped because we don't want to take more than half a day.

03

Half-day on-site (or remote-equivalent)

A working session with the team. We pair, we eat, we talk about the strategy. You leave with a clear sense of whether this is for you.

04

Decision in 48 hours, offer in writing

We don't make you wait. The number, the equity, the start date, the first 90 days — all in the offer.

// What's next

Build the tools you wish you had
when you wrote your first PR.

Bring a repo, a question, or a hunch. We answer every message inside a business day — often inside an hour.
